My client is a global financial institution located in the heart of Brussels and easily reachable by public transport.

Role purpose:
1) Business analyses for Trade Support and Reconciliation
2) Support for Trade Support and Reconciliation
• Work effectively on a variety of ongoing Trade Support and Reconciliation-related projects from initial analysis, accumulation of business requirements, analysis and testing, specification and documentation of any development requirements, communication to team members and other departments of impacts, scheduling testing and production releases and effective communication to users.
• Help define and implement a support model for Trade Support and Reconciliation

- University degree (computer sciences, engineering, economics, finance, ...)
- Business analysis and project management courses (Prince II)
- At least 5 years of experience in Asset Management (or in the financial sector), with a good understanding of the investment world (insight in the different asset classes).
- Experience in Business Analysis and Project Management
- The role will ask active involvement and a very good insight in every aspect of the asset management business (focus on the transactional aspects). Knowledge of asset management industry, security types (Fixed Income, Equity, OTC derivatives, repo’s, MMI) trade flow, valuation, cash management, corporate actions and investment accounting
- Strong Business analysis, process definitions, documentation & formalisation skills. Previous experience on Trade Support or Reconciliation applications is a plus.
- Proven ability to plan, design and execute functional and regression testing programmes
- Team player, communicative, pro-active, critical minded, business efficiency, change management, sense of priority, autonomy, customer-oriented
- Fluent in English. Dutch and French optional.
