Overview

My client is a well-known company y active in the insurance sector and based in the center of Brussels

Within their Non-Life insurance department, my client plans and executes a number of projects and enhancements on its application portfolio which consists of:
• an existing backend system managing contracts and claims, mainframe based
• a new frontend for brokers and internal users to manage the full life cycle of a contract, .NET based applications
• a series of new applications to support claim notification and the management of external parties (inspectors, experts, lawyers, …), .NET based

Given the constant evolving broker insurance market on one hand and the internal evolution to implement process excellence on the other, a number of important changes to this application portfolio are required. Next to this, the current applications need to be maintained and evolve to follow market standards.
Over the last years, this company has implemented a methodology to support the full life cycle of a project. Some years ago, development activities have been outsourced and are now located off-shore. Key activities in functional analysis and design on one hand and integration and UAT remains onsite

In order to further strengthen this team, iStorm is currently looking for a Functional analyst/designer.
