Overview
Our client is an industrial company based in the South of Antwerp. The company is a global player in its domain and has major production units in Belgium and abroad. The company is currently employing more than 2,000 people and is still looking to grow heavily over the coming years.
With a huge demand from their customers the company will have an increased need of developing new prototypes of their product range.
As such, our client is currently looking to hire a seasoned Project manager. The Project Manager leads product development projects from start to finish. A typical project lasts for 1 ½ year and involves several stakeholders, ranging from Sales, Engineering, Product design (R&D), Production and IT.
Before actively starting to work on projects you will receive a full training on our client’s internal business processes and on the methodology used.

- Define a project team and describe their function within the project
- Risk mapping
- Budget control
- Problem management
- Project planning & coordination (time and material)
- Monitor and report on all aspects of the project in order to ensure that the project meets the organizational requirements, the methodology and the quality standards
- Exception management: adapt the project when necessary to maintain high quality and customer satisfaction. You report these changes to the project board
- Process improvement by documenting successes and ensuring future implementation in the business

Profile
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- Project methodology knowledge, preferably Prince 2
- A minimum of 3-5 years project management experience
- You have managed projects from a Business perspective and are able to keep a good helicopter view on projects.
- Strong communication skills and excellent change management skills
- Strong personality
