The Distributed Middleware and Frameworks team designs, develops, supports, and operates the tools that enable the integration of business applications with operating systems within distributed environments. Part of this integration layer includes technical frameworks, i.e. sets of API /classes which, based on functional requirements, isolate business applications from the system and middleware changes, ensure the applications access the middleware in a uniform way, and ensure the operability of the solutions by enforcing security, scalability, availability, alerting, and manageability requirements.

• We are looking for an Expert in C++ and Microsoft .Net Frameworks team, whose scope includes technical frameworks for both the Unix AIX and Windows environments.
• The job is larger than a usual analyst - developer role: the team members participate in the verification of the requirements; followed by the analysis and the implementation of the solution.
• You will thus act as a technical team leader / project manager; as such you will be the link between the team and the domain Manager.
• They also take care of the integration, the customization (non functional requirement) and testing of the framework - the testing of the final solution (Business Application) is done by another team.
• You will support the Development, Test and Production environments. The latter involves participating in Watch Duty (second to third line support) for a maximum of 1 week every 4 weeks, each person in the team is "on call" overnight.
• You are expected to take technical and strategic decisions - under the technical supervision of the Technical Domain Owner in your domain with a clear rationale on the consequences and the reasoning.
• You will be Product Owner for specific distributed middleware e.g. COM+, .Net ... The team (and this role) is located in the center of Brussels and in the Walloon Brabant you will benefit from the support of a very motivated team composed of Senior Analyst Developers and Technical Domain Owners.

• You have a strong experience in IT technical development (C, C++,.Net), especially with IBM AIX but also with Linux and Microsoft Server environment.
• You are service-minded and have good, transparent communication skills.
• Technical co-ordination skills/ambition are a plus.
