Our client is a Property group present across the globe. Belgium represents the continental European headquarters. The Board of Management has recently defined 7 strategic Programs to bring the group to the next level in the 3-5 years and as such is looking for an experienced project manager who is able to lead several projects simultaneously.

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the delivery of IT projects and provide programme facilitation in the strategic programmes with a sense of urgency for across the following four core areas. You will also be the IT representative in Belgium. The successful candidate reports to the UK (London based) and as such must be prepared to travel on occasional basis (10%)

50% Project Management: Deliver change in a controlled, timely and effective manner - In scope - On time and On Budget. Ensure that project and project deliverables are delivered to meet project milestones and project is completed within target dates. Develop, track, control and own the project budget and related costs from start to finish.

20% Business Analysis: Ensure that initial requirements are gathered correctly, in detail and
in full and then ensure that requirements are delivered in execution of the project.

20% Service Management: Serve as the Service Manager with a focus on local problem management and stakeholder management

10% Leadership/Change Management: Serve as the senior most IT representative in Belgium, provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to local IT staff.

- University degree (Bachelor degree is a minimum requirement)
- Knowledge of a formal Project management methodology (Prince 2, PMI, …)
- Fluency in Dutch and English, knowledge of any other European language is a plus
- Proven exposure to and involvement with full lifecycle software projects including technical understanding of application development, databases and system design
- Experience leading knowledge / content management related change projects
- Experience leading projects in web site development, CMS implementation
- Leadership: Lead and design solutions to resolve complex and multi-faceted project issues
