The ICT Infra & Operations Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- People management: Acting as the direct supervisor for ICT HelpDesk Agents, ICT Application Support Agents, ICT Field Support, and ICT Support Engineers.
- Supplier management: Monitoring and coordinating the activities of various external service providers in terms of contracts, billing, and operational follow-up.
- Project management: Managing or collaborating on department-specific or cross-functional projects within the company.
- Technical architecture management: Ensuring the consistency of infrastructure services, their alignment with departmental and company strategy, and their technical upgrades.
- Operations management: Coordinating support processes, including both internal (Service Desk and other support lines) and external (suppliers) activities.
- Quality management: Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of services and ensuring compliance with the quality system.
More specifically?
People management:
- Recruiting, onboarding, and training (or organizing the training of) new employees on regulations, work procedures (ISO), methods and IT tools, and job content.
- Developing employee skills: monitoring, evaluating, and enhancing their knowledge and competencies.
- Defining development and training paths for team members in line with the strategic plan, and organizing their continuous training.
- Monitoring employee development and conducting annual performance reviews for each team member.
- Setting individual objectives for team members, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and the competency development plan.
- Evaluating employee performance and providing regular feedback.
- Motivating employees and helping them identify ways to optimize their performance.
- Actively contributing to team dynamics.
- Leading and facilitating change within the unit in coordination with the ICT Director.
- Managing the unit’s activities to ensure adequate staffing levels for operational support within the allocated budget.
- Ensuring the well-being of team members.
Supplier management:
- Ensuring proper operational follow-up with various ICT suppliers/partners.
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations from ICT suppliers/partners.
- Monitoring billing processes for ICT suppliers/partners.
Activity coordination:
- Distributing tasks among the unit’s different service providers and monitoring activity continuity.
- Ensuring rigorous tracking of Service Desk activities and objectives.
- Identifying opportunities for infrastructure development, improvement, or rationalization, and organizing implementation.
- Identifying opportunities for the improvement or rationalization of IT hardware (PCs, peripherals, etc.) and coordinating deployment.
- Participating in defining and monitoring performance indicators for the unit.
Quality management:
- Defining and clarifying processes and procedures for the unit.
- Preparing for and overseeing audits.
- Proposing corrective actions based on internal, external, and audit feedback.
- Continuously improving services to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participating in the department’s budget planning and monitoring.
Profile
Required skills:
Technical skills:
- Expertise in IT system architecture and infrastructure management within the company.
- Strong understanding of internal cross-functional processes.
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in written and spoken French, good command of English, and a passive understanding of Dutch.
- Strong practical knowledge of the IT tools and software used within the company.
- In-depth understanding of IT architecture principles.

- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
