Your projects will mainly be based in Brussels & Flemish Brabant.
We are seeking a talented System Engineer to join our dynamic team. Together with your team, you are responsible for the operational management of the infrastructure of the clients assigned to you. You provide our clients with operational support (2nd and 3rd line), and you implement, patch, upgrade or migrate the client’s infrastructure (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V, Office 365, Azure,…).
As our System Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and resolving incidents and service requests in accordance with the applicable methodologies and procedures
- Working with System Center, Intune, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, cloud, VMware, and more
- Project management and infrastructure design
- Executing projects for the client within scope, considering technical capabilities, client requirements, scheduling, and deadlines
- After an onboarding period, you will become part of our standby team
Profiel- Fluent EN / NL or EN / FR (written & spoken skills)
- At least 2 years of experience as system engineer
- Problem solver en solution minded
- Methodical, organized and client oriented
- Stress resistant and not afraid of a fast-paced environment
- Teamplayer
- Not afraid of procedures and processes
Technical skills :End-user computing, System center, Intune, asset staging, Group policy operations, Microsoft Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange, IIS, VMware virtualization, Microsoft Office 365 are all terms that you have already heard of or have experience with
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell or any other scripting language is highly desirable
- Understanding of ITIL concepts like incident management, change management, problem management, etc.
- Backup, enterprise infrastructure monitoring, vulnerability management and patching products
- Knowledge of network switching: TCP/IP, subnet calculations, VLAN & load balancing concepts
- Microsoft SQL Server, focus on (disaster) recovery techniques
- Certifications are certainly a plus
