So if you are not yet an experienced Cyber Security Architect - but on your way to become one - you can definitively apply for this position as you can be mentored by a large pool of experienced professionals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Embedded within the Cyber Security department, you will contribute to the design and governance of security architecture across various IT and business domains—not just infrastructure and networks.
Produce and maintain documentation related to security architecture.
Review and influence access control mechanisms, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and other key security domains.
Engage with architecture governance processes to support security-by-design principles in diverse projects.
Provide security expertise across multiple sectors, spanning both technical systems and business processes.
Mentor and support junior team members—there is room for onboarding and training younger professionals.
Own and drive evolution within your assigned security domain, acting as a reference point for best practices.
Work closely with IT architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with security requirements and enterprise risk standards.
Operate with a strong understanding of the criticality of security in a financial environment, where stability, compliance, and resilience are essential.
ProfileStrong communication and influencing skills (verbal and written), with fluency in English and a working knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
Ability to operate in a collaborative, complex environment with multiple domains and stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity topics, IAM, access control, and security processes.
Experience in designing and assessing IT architecture through security-focused lenses.
Familiarity with structured architecture methodologies such as TOGAF and SABSA.
